Welcome to another beautiful week. When an idea sparks that I think is worth sharing, it becomes this weekly newsletter. If something hits home, write back. I love conversations. This is Weekly Spark #44.

I have lived through metamorphosis more than once.

My professional journey started with being a founder for Narang Physiotherapy and Healthcare which then evolved into Vertex Physiotherapy. I had 3 clinics and a fitness centre. After building that from the ground up, I stepped into the world of leadership and coaching. I was one of the founding members of the Mentora Institute and loved every day of being the intrapreneur and building it up from the ground up. In 2020, middle of the pandemic, I decided it was time to evolve again and that led to the formation of IgnitedNeurons.

From building something stable… to walking away from it and starting again. From knowing who I was… to questioning everything… I have an affinity to the founder life.

And every single time, it has felt the same.

Uncomfortable. Uncertain. Almost painful.

There is a moment in every transition where the old version of you no longer fits, but the new version has not fully formed yet. You are in between. And that space is hard to sit in.

Nature has a beautiful way of showing us what is really happening.

A caterpillar does not become a butterfly by slowly growing wings. It enters a cocoon and completely dissolves. Its old body breaks down into a kind of liquid state before something entirely new begins to form.

Metamorphosis is not an upgrade. It is a transformation.

And transformation is messy.

Now zoom out for a moment.

We are all living through a collective metamorphosis right now. The way we work is changing. The way we think is changing. AI is reshaping how we create, decide, and lead. Roles are evolving. Identities are shifting.

If you look at the data, the pace is undeniable. Skills that were relevant five years ago are already becoming outdated. Entire job categories are being redefined. The World Economic Forum estimates that millions of jobs will be displaced, while new ones that do not exist today will emerge in the next few years.

This is not a small shift.

This is a cocoon moment for all of us.

Which brings me to you.

Where are you in your own metamorphosis?

Are you holding on to a version of yourself that no longer fits? Are you resisting a change that is already happening? Are you waiting for clarity before you take a step forward?

If you are, you are not alone.

But here is what I have learned from my own journey.

First, accept the discomfort. The confusion you feel is not a sign that something is wrong. It is a sign that something is changing.

Second, stay in motion. You do not need the full map. You need the next step. Small actions create clarity.

Third, return to your values. When everything outside is shifting, your values become your anchor. They help you make decisions even when the path is unclear.

Fourth, find your people. Transformation is hard to do alone. The right conversations can give you perspective and courage.

Metamorphosis is not easy.

But on the other side of it, there is always expansion.

So here is a question I want you to sit with this week:

What part of you is ready to dissolve so that a new version of you can emerge?

If you want to have a conversation, just resond with the answer and I swear to every butterfly I have ever seen, I will respond. 🙂

Cheering you on,

With love and light,

Utkarsh
