This weekend, I attended the Extraordinary Conference - a gathering of brilliant minds, big hearts, and bold ideas.
And somewhere between the sessions, the quiet conversations, and the space, something shifted in me.
I realised that an extraordinary life isn’t just about chasing bigger goals.
It’s about building values that redefine who you are and how you operate.
🌱 My Personal Shift
Over the weekend, I did something I didn’t expect. I let go of one value I’d been holding onto for 7 years… and invited a new one in.
The one I let go of? Excellence. The one I invited in? Presence.
Excellence kept me pursuing it. Presence gives me freedom.
And I know this small shift will ripple into how I work, how I parent, how I lead.

An extraordinary life doesn’t come from achievements alone.
It comes from living in alignment with your values—especially when no one’s watching.
When you know your values:
Decisions get simpler
Boundaries get clearer
Life feels more intentional
Ask yourself: Are my current values serving the life I want or keeping me safe in the one I have?

For teams, shared values are the glue that holds everything together.
They shape how you communicate, collaborate, and handle conflict.
Without values, teams drift. With values, they accelerate—because everyone knows what matters most.
Extraordinary teams don’t just have KPIs. They have guiding principles.
🏢 Extraordinary Organisations
Organisations often talk about values, but the extraordinary ones live them.
They hire, fire, reward, and promote based on them. They make hard calls through the lens of “Does this align with our values?”
When values drive strategy, culture becomes a competitive advantage. When they don’t, culture becomes a liability.
